Medical Transcription

Want to work from home as a medical transcriptionist for a medical practice or hospital? Our quick and affordable medical transcription training will give you the skills you need in less than 6 months. This comprehensive program covers basic medical procedures and terminology, a study of the human body, how diseases are diagnosed and treated, plus real-world transcription practice. You’ll learn the latest medical transcription procedures from knowledgeable instructors with years of experience in their field.

The Medical Transcription Course is comprised of 18 comprehensive lessons. They are easy to follow, yet challenging and stimulating at the same time. Each lesson begins with a subject matter preview and objectives, an introductory note from your instructor and a vocabulary builder of new words and terms.

Next comes the reading assignment. Then you’ll practice what you’ve learned on your home computer* using the physicians’ audio dictations on CD that we supply. At the end of the lesson is an open-book exam, which you may take online.
